What is Career Wellbeing?

Career Wellbeing refers to how we feel about what we do every day. It is our ability to feel good and function effectively while we navigate the highs and lows of life. The Gallup Organisation identified career wellbeing as one of five broad categories that are essential for overall wellbeing. They found that when we are functioning well in our careers we are twice as likely to be thriving in life. At CareerBlox, we believe that all of us should have the knowledge, tools, and support to manage of our own career wellbeing.

The Benefits of Career Wellbeing.

Do you love what you do every day? Unfortunately, only 20% of people will answer this question with a resounding “yes!”. If you have high career wellbeing, you are likely to be happier and more engaged in all aspects of your career. You will:

  • feel more engaged at work
  • feel more satisfied in your job
  • be more productive
  • experience less burnout
  • have less unhealthy days

Who We Are

Hi. I’m Tayce, Career Development Consultant and founder of CareerBlox. It’s great to meet you! Here’s a little bit about me.

After university, I spent a decade working in Recruitment, Human Resources and Organisational Development across Europe and Australia. During this time, I developed a strong knowledge of recruitment and interview practices in both the public and private sectors. I also gained experience in training, coaching and counselling along with a passion for developing human potential.

After taking a career break to look after young children I began to realise just how important work was to my wellbeing and my sense of having “the good life”. A great job provides more than just economic security, it provides opportunities to meet new people, build relationships, engage in meaningful work and achieve big goals. I also realised how difficult it can be to find meaningful work after life gets in the way of your career.

So here began my passion for helping people to build meaningful and engaging careers. I have since gained a Bachelor or Behavioural Science from UQ, a Graduate Certificate in Education (Career Development and Counselling) from QUT and I am currently completing a Master of Applied Positive Psychology through Melbourne Uni.

I’m a qualified career practitioner and a passionate coach and I would love to help you build your thriving career.
